The farmer-owned cooperatives who grow the coffee — and lead the development work in their own communities.

Every organization on this page is a Trading PartnerTrading PartnerA fair trade organic, farmer-owned coffee cooperative with an established trading relationship with Cooperative Coffees — the importing cooperative that supplies Campesino Organic and Sweetwater Organic. TPRN raises funds alongside them; they originate and run the work.: a farmer-owned cooperative that already sells its coffee to the roasters in our network.

The development work is theirs. Leadership training for women members. Wet mills and drying patios. Education loans, health funds, a farming school, a cooperative’s own written history. These are grassroots projects — identified, written, sanctioned, and managed by each cooperative’s own board of directors. TPRN does not choose them, design them, or run them. We raise funds alongside the cooperatives and report what happens.

These are not communities we went looking for. They are the ones already at the other end of a trade that has been running for years — in Pangoa’s case since 2008, in COMSA’s since 2016. When you contribute to a project here, you are sending resources back along a line that already connects you.

TPRN anticipates working with more than ten Trading Partner cooperatives. Full profiles for the rest of the network are in production — each one written with the cooperative, not about it.

Dev note — roster needs confirmation This list is drawn from the Café Campesino farmer-partner directory and is a sourcing roster, not a confirmed TPRN Trading Partner roster. Tripp to confirm which cooperatives are in scope for TPRN before launch. The Executive Summary says “more than ten” — twelve are listed here plus the two profiled above. Confirm the number we publish, and confirm we have each cooperative’s consent to be named on our site.

Our commitment: 100% of every project contribution reaches the cooperative.

Member dues and Sponsor gifts cover TPRN’s operating costs. Where payment processing or wire fees apply, we ask Contributors to cover them at checkout — and where they aren’t covered, Sponsor funds absorb them. The cooperative receives the full project amount, every time.
